Also because I lost my Wordpress password and haven't been able to recover my account. So I just copied everything over and changed the publish dates. Anyway, enjoy.

Subject: Liberal Haters.

It never surprises me where hate comes from. Liberal, conservative, no matter, they both hate and write their hate clearly.

On her blog (Leslie Parsely) calls Republicans Nazis and her buddy Sue (Hello Mr. President) agrees.

I've been getting hate mail from Sue for weeks now, and just got another today. She uses anonymous names like "from one of the nice people" and goes on with her dirty word attack on me.

It all reminds me of years ago (on one of my past blogs) when I was called a traitor for being against the invasion of Iraq.

More equal to the group liberal blog (The Peace Train) which I helped start. One of the authors wrote a three page (detailed) article on how Bush (Cheney and his other administrators) was/were Nazis, and of course Bush was Hitler. I wrote a comment on how stupid it was to compare Bush to Hitler, or his administers to Nazis. I was summarily banned from that blog. I didn't fall in line with the hate message.

As I have been banned from Leslie's blog and Sue's blog, for writing on my blog, that Obama should get off his fat ass. That banning was followed by numerous hate mail, which I still get today. Sue wrote most of the hate mail, but Leslie and Sue's minions have sent many letters of hate. That mail is full of the most vulgar language, and all came anonymous (cowards). I replied (with my ID) in kind.

This is not political disagreement. This is hate, just as it was hate calling Bush Hitler.

If you have read Sue's blog you know she is a fouled mouth Obamamaniac. She calls Republicans and Democrats who disagree with her and the President – morons, stupid, Nazis, and every other name in the book.

Seems the Nazi like behavior, is those who attack with hate, anyone's opinion, that does not agree with them.

I don't think I should be attacked for saying the President should get off his fat ass and do something, especially if I write that on my blog, not theirs.

So here we go again, with the hate. The Nazi comparisons. The hate mail. The idiotic strategy, that hate will sway anyone, or is an acceptable means of communicating with each other, or a way to get people to vote for your God (Obama) candidate.

According to Sue and Leslie, I am the idiot. I must express hate for Republicans, or I'm to be attacked and banned. Reminds me of that Bush saying, "your either with us, or against us".

Of course, if I'm not with their hate, then I will be a target of their hate.

Follow their hate if you want. I won't. I won't be intimidated. I don't care if I'm banned from a blog. I certainly won't agree that hate is the way to go. I feel sorry for Sue and others that wake up everyday and think about the nastiest thing they can say about a Republican, then think of the nastiest thing they can send to my blog and email.

These are people with sad lives, and hurting the dialogue that should be going on between those who disagree politically.

I don't see, or hear this kind of hate coming out of the President, so Leslie and Sue follow their own hate filled hearts, not Obama's strategy for the election.

RN attacked my blog last Summer with the same kind of hate.
In the past I have been attacked by other conservatives with hate.
The point is "hate" not political disagreement.

Sue is very aggressive and that is no secret. Leslie recently posted a piece about how both sides, conservatives and liberals are too aggressive. I was a bit surprised to hear this about her.

Jolly Roger: Actually, the Nazi comparisons are valid. They tortured people, started wars for nothing, whipped up racial and religious hatred, and tried to funnel as much money as they could get their hands on to a few rich cronies of theirs. This is very much in keeping with Nazi methodology.

Beyond that, I hear you. I have been ridiculed, banned, and demonized by a whole bunch of supposed libruls because I didn't sing the patriotic song. I'm probably as unwelcome on as many left blogs now as I am on winger blogs. Matters not; I don't live to please anyone, save my family and my German Shepherd dog.

Beach Bum: Throwing my two cents in for what it's worth but all this internal bickering is getting us nowhere. Yes, Obama is a spineless wimp and the republicans show more in common everyday with German Brown Shirts of the early 1930's but instead of liberals calling each other nasty names and pouting someone with some damn clout needs to get us out into the streets protesting if not rioting.

It blows my mind to hear stories about how the republicans are passing laws throughout the country making it damn near impossible for minorties to vote. Thirty years ago people would have rioted if such things were even tried, now all you get is Rev. Al doing 15 minutes about it on his show then he moves onto another story. Come on people.

Tom: I find those who can't spell the names of political parties properly, and twist them like 2nd grade playground insults to be very lowbrow, and not interested in, and not capable of any sort of intellectual discourse. They can't even say someone's name without making up a new insult for it. I call the type of tactic "Limbaughesque"

dmarks: Tom: Rush Limbaugh is the most famous figure on the political scene who can barely speak or write a sentence without some supposedly witty insult directed at those who don't share his political views. Conservative commentators Mark Levin and Michael Medved are similar. Medved thought it was so cute to call Gen. Wesley Clark "Weasely" every time he spoke of him.

And on the left, Molly Ivins comes to mind. She had loads of cutesey insults, and loved to make fun of Texas Gov. Rick Perry's hair to the detriment of discussing substantial issues. And the left-wing bloggers you have issues with do the same. It really drags down the level and effectiveness of their arguments.

It's all rather lowbrow.

I was heartened to learn of your concern for my life in general. I feel bad for being so naive about the haters when it is you, not they, that is wishing me well.

Therefore, I am committed to redoubling my efforts in this matter, with a more thorough investigation. I will ask Sue again if she is the culprit, and I will tell her that I need her to be absolutely sure before she answers. I will let you know what this more thorough investigation reveals.

As for your addresses, they are very compelling indeed. However, if Sue is behind the hate I am pretty sure she will know all about it, as she will have caught herself in the act. I cannot think of a more authentic source in which to place my faith than that of an eye witness.

Again, I know you need to get this matter behind you and I am truly compassionate, now that I know you are concerned about me also. Fear not, sir, Myste is on the job.

John Myste: I will answer your questions in no particular order: Yes, no, no, yes. I am not sure if that is right, but I think it is. I am in a long sleep drought, so everything is a little more confusing than normal. I will have Sue supply the missing details, lest I miss anything.

I am a writer for Mad Mike's America, so I am sure... Hmm. That doesn't really mean anything at all, does it? Investigative journalism is so complex. Ever since FOX redefined the standards, we all have to suffer.

Just so you know, Herodotus is considered the Father of History, because of his journalistic prowess. He was the first historian to document his sources, for example:

I think with a small joint effort and some coffee, we could patch this up and all get along.

Snoring Dog Studio: A lot of commenting about he said, she said. However, Tom, your premise and points are right on and I appreciated reading them. I'm sick of the name calling that barely substitutes for conversation these days. It's all about who can come up with the most clever pejorative. Never mind facts, information, true statements from the perpetrators. Leslie's blog is like so many other I'm coming across. (I just unsubscribed.) A few facts, then a lot of name calling. Demonizing and categorizing people we don't agree with. Don't mistake this: there are a lot of Republicans and TP members and a few Dems I find deplorable. But, as liberals who care about the common good, we're not going to sway any Independents or anyone on the fence with all this vitriol. People, we're in a desperate place now. We could well end up with Perry as the next POTUS. Do we really want that? If we don't tone down the dialogue soon and stop turning off people or entrenching them further in their camps, we're in big, big trouble.

Is This So Hard ?

Subject: Before the Hate.

We only have a spending problem, if we do not want, or need what we are paying for. Since Americans do want their Social Security, Medicare, etc., then we have a revenue problem. Americans need military services. Maybe not at the level we have now, but certainly we cannot eliminate a military.

If we spend on infrastructure, education and other things that will pay future dividends, those are worthy and needed investments.

Everyone talks about settling the current deficit. No mention of eliminating the national debt. We need to attack that debt, to leave future Americans the ability to make choices for themselves and their decedents.

We have a huge debt, because we paid taxes at a rate lower than our spending. I find Republicans have no credibility when it comes to demanding spending cuts. They got their tax cuts starting 30 years ago, but never cut spending and were never concerned about the national debt.

Now, they are willing to cause financial ruin in the United States and the World, just to push a lie of concern for our fiscal problems, to make the President look bad and lose the coming election.

Why do people even listen to those who created the problem in the first place? Would we listen to a drunk drivers excuse after he killed someone?

It truly comes down to simple Math. We already know these elected officials cannot add, or subtract, so we must do their Math for them; not to mention pay dearly for their lack of not doing their jobs.

Republicans keep blaming the President for our situation. While that goes on, our situation gets worse. Republicans have a defeatist attitude, when they say the only answer, is to gut the government with their tax cuts.

Investing in the future of our people and our country, is the only smart way out of this situation.

Sue: I think the more those idiots appear on TV, like the way Boehner did the other night making a fool of himself, the easier it is to see the hypocrisy, the deceit, the lies, the wool being pulled over the eyes of the duped...

The republicans really are the party of stupid, they don't have a clue how to govern, how to grow an economy, how to put country first. I really do hate them...

I'm afraid, like Bill Maher, I find the American people stupid for going along this far with Republicans. I hope they dump the Republicans and have thought so for decades. I'm still waiting.
Sure Obama got elected. The first black President in History, but Republican wins have saturated the country. Governors like Pawlenty have left MN bankrupt, and Walker is destroying WI, now.
Asd far as I'm concerned, it's to late, but any change, at anytime, is welcome.

Spaced Out

Subject: Before the Hate.

The Atlantis shuttle took off this morning for the last time. The last time NASA will send another manned space craft into space. From now on we have to hitch (at the cost of tens of millions of dollars) a ride into space with the Russians.

In the near future private corporations will send manned space crafts into space. Private corporations will exploit space, not explore space. For you conservatives who think that's the best choice, you have won (killed another government program by starving the money from it).

It will be interesting how space exploration will evolve with States all over the World sending crafts into space against American corporations. It will be the tourist flights against the scientific work. "Reality show" space travel against the "Science channel" network of serious investigation.

The laws about human behavior, rights, and conduct in space, have not been written. It will be interesting to see how private corporations up against State sponsored space fleets, will negotiate their property, or orbit (flight routes) rights. Maybe they will just demand what they want, use corporate spies and vandalism, or as typical capitalists, just push them off the corner.

Add to the list of things we have surrendered to the rest of the World (manufacturing, production, autos, textiles, appliances, TV's, etc., etc….) space flight.

I can't wait for the private police of our society, or fire departments, or libraries, or anything else normally delegated to the State to run on behalf of the people. And yes, with those pesky government regulations to protect individual rights for all.

Things are cyclical, and some day Americans will come back to the idea of communal taxation for the benefit of all. For now I guess WalMart will build its own roads and sewers when they build a new store.

Hope you can afford private services. Don't miss a payment, or when you call for help the private police, fireman, or EMT will say sorry we cannot service you for the crook in your house, house fire, or heart attack, because you had a late, or no payment.

The rich will have police. The rich will have fire departments, and the rich will be able to fly in space. I quote another line from JFK, who challenged Americans to be first in space:

"If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few that are rich".

I wonder if corporations will be satisfied servicing (making a profit) the small percentage of the people who can afford service, and of course for the rest, welcome to the third World State of America.

Government by the corporation, for the corporations.

Good luck with your Private Corporation of the United States.

That is the Orwellian nightmare.

This is what we get for listening to the sounds of selfishness from Conservative leaders, opinion news, right on down to bloggers like RN.
It's fun to have these ideological discussing at the top down to the bloggers; but we forget these are the people, the representatives of the policies, that have "this" America in mind. They have brought us down, because they truly believe that's where we belong. No faith, or hope in the future. No faith in the people and their abilities, or even wanting them around, aware, or getting in the way of what they (Republicans) want to do.
I can hear their battle cry now, "The poor have to do their bit for the country too".

TOM Wordpress: Before 2006 (when Democrats regained control of the Congress) when GB was President and had majority in the Congress; Congress voted to cut NASA spending. It's not just one, it was the whole lot of them. That was after his father had mentioned going to Mars. Going to Mars would have meant a huge increase in NASA's budget to fulfill. Instead Mars was trashed, and so was NASA's budget. I do not know the status of the new space vehicle that was supposed to replace the shuttle. It was supposed to be a seamless turnover, and the new space craft should have been flying by now.

Liberal Rant

Subject: A post written back when identified as Liberal (before I went insane). I still say I'm Liberal, but that assertion is a lie.

We are an independent people, working hard to scratch out a living, hopefully a good living. That leads, by necessity, to be concerned for our own families well-being and future. We are also a compassionate people, willing to help our neighbors, near and far away.

In the days of the industrial revolution, life for many of our citizens was grim. It wasn't until after WWII that a solid middle class took hold, and a majority of our citizens were able to live a much better life. One of the reasons for the up lift in our society, were the federal safety net programs started in the 1930’s, and expanded in the 1960's.

Before then if a family needed help they went to religious, fraternal, or community based groups. Lack of food, shelter, and medical care was literally causing premature death among our people. It’s no mystery that as those basic needs became more abundant, our life expectancy increased. There was much suffering. People starving and dying in the streets. Deep poverty and early death among our senior citizens. Horrible working conditions and child (slave) labor.

During the great depression the problem got so bad that even the best intentions of the good-hearted help groups, were not enough to meet the needs of even a minority of the people in need. Those groups were overwhelmed by the number of people in distress, and their contributions were down because people had less money to give.

When FDR came along, the situation was serious, a national crisis. He had some ideas to stop the suffering and help the people. Those ideas involved national programs to help the whole nation, and they worked. The people had seen and lived through enough, they were willing to give more to help ease the suffering for all. Along with new laws to curb abuses, and yes, unions to negotiate for better working conditions, life improved greatly for millions of our citizens.

If conservatives want to reject that liberal political philosophy, or call it socialist, they should remember it is part of why we claim to be the best country in the world. Many problems are to big to be left to the charity of capitalists, or the philosophy of trickle down economics. The only way a job is the best self-help program, is if that job pays enough to live within the current economic situation.

I would think that companies would want to relieve themselves from paying for medical insurance for their employees. I believe that a consumption tax is more natural for a capitalistic system than an income tax. Most of all, I can’t believe we are going to watch all the hard work and suffering our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents put into making life so much better than anywhere else in the world, fade away because we are to selfish to care about our neighbors and the people of our whole country.

Basically I believe the government should stay out of my bedroom and out of my pockets, but it’s not a matter of one political philosophy. It's a matter of what’s best for the country.

We have to change our priorities. Is it more important to worry about whose married to who, or how we are going to meet our financial obligations? Is it more important to pander to our selfishness by saying "no new taxes", or invest in the future of our country and the well-being of our people? When does this generation (as every other generation has before us) make a real hard sacrifice to ensure the future health of this country? The sacrifice we need to make now, is a financial one, not a military one.

So what kind of society are you willing to pay for?

Libraries closed, schools closed, mental patients tossed out in the streets (where they cause crime), a 14 TRILLION dollar national debt, people dying in emergency waiting rooms, lack of proper military troop supplies, breaking our promise to our senior citizens for lack of funds (that the Congress spent on other things), a dangerous addiction to Arab oil because we won’t invest in our own fuel sources, and on, and on, and on.

Why are we no longer willing to pay to remain the best country in the world?

Why should we settle for future generations having less of a quality of life, than we have been given from our parents and grandparents?

Sue: Tom, I'm sorry! I didn't know I had to update my bloglist because you switched to wordpress, I will get right on that! As always your commentary posts are well said, beautifully written, and, as always, I agree with every word.

The Republican party has gone so far right because of the tea party I’m afraid they are putting the last nails in the coffin. Their extremism is not what the country wants and I know our side will win out in the end. I've never been more confident.

I agree that Republicans are destroying what generations of Americans have built, and are surely wrecking the future. Obviously they just don't care.
I hope Keith O. will be on through the election. We need his voice.

By The People, For The People

Subject: "I remain liberal only in the sense that as long as government is wasting our money, I would rather they waste it on programs that go to individuals, not the corporate rich, or the military".

I doubt I'm wrong when I say the Republicans most famous and beloved President, is Abraham Lincoln. He is my favorite President also.

His famous line... government by the people, for the people... shall not perish...

Seems today's Republicans do not honor President Lincoln, or agree with his description of America.

Republicans have no concern for "the people".

Before FDR, Republicans had screwed the country up so bad, they created the "Great Depression". Their policies of cut taxes back in the 1920's favoring the corporations, Wall Street, and the rich (sound familiar) left "the people" out in the cold.

One big difference back then; there were no safety net programs, to help the starving people of America. The starvation and economic collapse continued until FDR became President. FDR enacted programs like Social Security (that the majority of Americans supported) to help ease the dying and suffering.

These "social" programs saved the lives of hundreds of thousands (maybe more) of Americans. These were not "social" programs in the sense of a Socialist Stalin forced government; but were "government by the people, for the people". Americans wanted and supported these policies; proven by the majority of Americans voting for FDR an unprecedented four times. Not a political fluke, or fad by any means.

The American people also knew they had to, and did, pay for those programs by taxing themselves at a higher rate, than ever before in American History. They understood that the poverty of their fellow Americans was not only their moral responsibility, but ended the instability that was dangerous to the country. They understood, that to build the greatest country in the World took money, and plenty of it.

The dictators of the World like Stalin only had to confiscate the wealth of his country. Americans had to give, freely, through taxation, to ensure having the best military, infrastructure, space program, highway system, medical, lifestyle, etc., etc.

Seems the Americans of the 20th century understood the sacrifices needed to build the greatest country ever on the face of the Earth. Seems the Americans of the 21st century not only don't understand sacrifice for country, but selfishly want to tear down what generations of Americans have spent blood and paid their hard-earned money to build.

Who are we to be the first generation of Americans, to leave America worse off, than it was left to us? And why, because we won't cough up a few dollars?

As Republicans continue to destroy what generations of Americans have willingly built; surely they are wrecking the future of the American people. Somehow Republicans equate progress for all the people, with Socialism.

I will continue to honor Abraham Lincoln and his description of America as being "by the people and for the people".

w-dervish: I thought Reagan was the most beloved Republican president. In Lincoln's day the Republicans were a reform party... this was prior to their sell-out to the wealthy and corporations.

I agree that Republicans are destroying what generations of Americans have built, and are surely wrecking the future. Obviously they just don't care.

TOM Wordpress: I thought I would get a disagreement about Lincoln being the most beloved Republican President; and I suppose today’s Republicans would rate Reagan higher than Lincoln, which only shows how off course Republicans have become. Yes, Republicans would like to go back to the governemnt of Coolidge and pre WW II.To bad they have not learned the lessons of History, or they would know that will not work. dmarks: I'm all for a safety net, but not for the well-off and wealthy. They don't need it. In recent history, the Democrats have come out as being more in favor of handouts to the wealthy. Look at the massive giveaway called TARP (most Republicans voted against it), and the curious case of SCHIP... supposedly for needy children. The Democrats favored expanding it to adults of means, while the Republicans wanted it limited to needy children.

(As for my view on TARP and the Wall-Street bailouts: I side with most Republicans and a minority of more hardline leftist Democrats: I opposed it all).

w-dervish: More Republicans may have voted against TARP, but that doesn't mean they were against it. George bush signed TARP. If more Republican votes had been necessary for it to pass more Republicans would have voted for it. There was no way this thing wasn't going to pass.

Republicans knew they could vote against it, it would pass anyway, and the ILLUSION that they are in favor of the "free market" would be maintained (thus placating the portion of their deluded base that believes the "free market" nonsense).

Republicans are the ones who champion legislation that benefits the wealthy (almost exclusively). The Democrats also champion legislation that benefits the wealthy, but that's because they need money to run their campaigns (excluding blue dogs, who are really the Republican-lite wing of the Democratic Party). Democrats also champion legislation that benefits the rest of us… Legislation the Republicans almost always oppose.

dmarks: I tend to think they were not needed. Wall Street does not need any handouts. If GM and Chrysler had gone bankrupt (no bailouts) they would have survived. Bankruptcy would have merely made them much better able to fend off creditors.

TOM Wordpress: The main reason given for the use of bailout. was to save the jobs, not only for the parent companies, but other companies (jobs) down the line.

Political Choices

Subject: Voting.

If you vote, are you going to vote for a partisan ideology, or what's best for America?

Are you going to be led by some party talking points, or policies that will really help America?

Will continuing to cut taxes be the answer to our country's problems? We have had 30 years of the "cut taxes" policies and see where that has got us.

Extremism cannot govern the country; which is why we cannot seem to solve our problems. Extremist politicians are controlling the debate.

Has common sense and common sacrifice disappeared from the American people's character? Seems so.

Do you think a minority viewpoint, or party can govern? The Green Party has a good candidate. Ayn Rand (political cult of the last century) has current followers like Mr. Ryan. Is Mr. Ryan's budget realistic, or going to work for America?

Can we finally (since the Regan tax revolution) accept that the "cut tax" ideology has not worked, in fact made things worse?

Will we be better off with a President who doesn't even know what Paul Revere did?

Seems the current crop of candidates (Republican) can only add material for our society's comics.

Lots of questions, that need some serious contemplation.

As the saying goes: We need serious people, to help solve our serious problems.

Leslie Parsley: We are a country populated by people with diverse views, which is why, imo, I don't think an "extremist" party of either political persuasion can get elected. And, frankly, this is the only thing that gives me a glimmer of hope for 2012 – providing people can actually cast their votes. : (

I never used to hate the political opposition, but lately I have found myself thinking just that.
There have always been extremists in politics, but never so close to majority.
The Reagan revolution also brought in the right wing Christians and leaders like Helms. For me, that’s when it all started getting crazy and unhealthy for America.

President Obama said that shortly after he won election, about 2-1/2 years ago.

Unfortunately, one of the sacrifices soldiers have to make; is to die for the stupidity and lies of their leaders. It has been that way forever, not just since President Bush.

That's why it's so important that we (citizens) hold our leaders to account for their decisions.

What do we do if we have spoken and our leaders still act against our wishes?

Being a good citizen, is more than just voting. Civic responsibility is more than just looking out for what's good for ourselves, but what's good for the whole country. The idea that "special interest" groups hold so much power over our representatives; shows just how much we are failing to do our jobs, as citizens.

If we see ourselves as the defender of liberty in the world, then we have to think of the world, not just our country.

If we commit violence in the name of national security, is that to actually protect our people and land, or to protect some commodity we are addicted to? When we talk about our national security interests in the Middle East, lets be clear, we are talking about securing a flow of oil. The life blood of our economy, without which our economy would certainly crumble. It is not only essential to us, but essential to the world, that America have a healthy economy.

So is it moral to defend a necessary commodity to us, with deadly force? To me, not if we have other means at our disposal to replace that commodity. Laziness, or a refusal to invest the needed money to produce those resources, is not an excuse to substitute offensive violence, and death. Wouldn't it have been more moral to invade and end the genocide in Darfur?

Would Islamic terrorists be attacking us, if it were not for our policies and behavior through the last century towards them, to protect our flow of Arab oil? It is to late to change what we have done in the past, so we must face this violence for years to come.

To want to dominate the world, with any one political philosophy, is insane. So we must question if it is best for us to force democracy throughout the world. If free elections bring socialism to South America, do we invade South America? If free elections bring communism to Russia, do we invade Russia? Are these truly free elections? Did we have a truly free election in 2000?

The President has decided that we need a violent offense, to defend ourselves. This is a policy change for America. We watched England be bombed for years, we saw China raped, France fell, but we didn't enter WWII until we were attacked. The League of Nations, the United Nations, both attempts to remind us that we do have a responsibility to the world, and must engage to ensure our own security.

To equate killing with honor, is immoral. I suppose we need to entice young people somehow, to do our killing for us. Is there such thing as a good war? NO. Are there times when it is necessary to fight and kill? YES.

The troops have honor in the courage they show, willing to put their lives on the line for their fellow citizens.

It is our mistake if we, or our leaders make the wrong decision about which situation calls for the sacrifice and death of our young people.

Everyone jumps on the band wagon of praising our soldiers for their courage and sacrifice. Yet, we cut Veterans benefits, refuse to pay what it takes for them to have the best equipment and supplies, they have to fight the red tape just to get needed medical care, private citizens pay for bullet proof vests, private citizens pay for a military burn unit in Arizona, and on, and on, and on.

We are hypocrites en mass on this issue. It's time to put our money where our mouths are! The political debate ends when it comes to taking care of our troops.

Support the troops – with your money!!

No new taxes! Quite a line to attract voters. No one wants to pay more taxes. We have to decide what kind of society we want and how much we are willing to pay for that society.

Probably. They hate us for our freedom (the US allows a lot culturally, and allows freedom of religion as part of it) and they especially hate us for standing in the way of their goal of exterminating Jews.

dmarks: And I should have added great post overall. Memorial day is about more than hot dogs on the grill. How many of us have actually gone to the cemetary services many communities have honoring the fallen? I’ve gone to a couple, but that is nothing to boast about. I should go every year.

I'm just learning this site myself, and not even half done with what I want to do with it. I would say, don't over think it.
You just have to get used to everything being somewhere else, but it’s all the same steps and most of the same features. Let me know if I can help.
Set up your new Word Press blog ASAP, then work on it as time permits. Setting up the template and settings, is easy and fast.
From what I could tell; the first comment by anyone has to be approved, then future comments from that person, will be automaticly published unless you have moderation, which I have not activated on this blog.

Good points, I agree.

However, it seems being on their soil with our troops, is what really set them off over 20 years ago.
There will always be a percentage that hate us, but that is not even close to a majority, it’s still a tiny minority of the population.
But that's all it takes. We defiinately have enemies in the World who want to kill us.

I remember that. And it was one of the least-aggressive intrusions of US troops into a nation imaginable. These soldiers were in limited numbers, and kept to limited areas, were there are the request/permission of the Saudi government, and were not engaged in any action whatsoever in Saudi Arabia.

The thing about it that turned these people into bloodthirsty savages was that the US troops there were not Muslims.

I take this as meaning that you are not blaming Islam, or not “all Muslims” for this. I definitely agree.
