Thanks for the information TOM. That explains why this Dervish idiot became to believe this crap, but it doesn't explain his psychopathic, criminal behavior.

If only the suppressed memory had come back to me sooner (as opposed to 3+ years later) I might have been able to do something. Of that I am convinced. As long as I pay taxes, I have a right to complain. As long as I am a citizen, I will complain. As long as crooked politicians are destroying our government, I will complain. As long as extremists cry Hitler, I will call that demagoguery. I refuse to be forced to conform to simply vote when my choices are so unacceptable. Voting to continue corrupt politics by voting for corrupt politicians is a danger in itself and I refuse to engage because I might fear some idiot calling me unpatriotic. I was called a traitor for not supporting the Iraq invasion. I complained about liberals when they called Bush II, Hitler.

I won't worship leaders who created a slave nation. I won't revere leaders who stole from then killed the Native Americans. Don't tell me Trump is the worst thing to happen in American politics. Liberal Hate

The liberals are so happy in their hate. Trump just gives them the giddy euphoria of being right. They call Trump Hitler, just as they called Bush Hitler. They claim their candidate Hillary is without any faults and use Trump as their comparison. WOW!

I have received over 600 vile emails and multiple death threats from liberal bloggers like Dervish Sanders and many more, because I dare to voice negative comments about Clinton. Nothing hate filled like they talk about Trump, just pointing out Clinton's weaknesses, and there are many. Her weakness is made clear by the fact that 10's of millions are voting for Trump. If Republicans had put up anyone but Trump, Clinton would surely lose.

I am happy Trump will lose, not because Clinton will win, but because America will be saved from a fascist presidency. A Clinton presidency will be marred by scandal, because secrecy and dishonesty is Clinton's working character. Her treatment of Sanders is all the proof we need, but there is so much more. Group think is a dangerous thing, that Americans are all being sucked in to.

So when president Clinton lies and Americans die, I will be there to say I told you so, but I won't call her a Hitler, or other ridiculous superlatives. Just the facts of her dishonesty. When her plans raise the national debt by another 10 trillion, I will be there to say I told you so. And what will the liberal haters say? Nothing. They are not concerned about good government, just their blind partisan liberal garbage.

I hope I'm wrong, but the dishonest, hate filled tactics of these morally bankrupt liberals already proved me correct. It's only a matter of time and depravity.

As Clinton herself said, "What does it matter at this point...". I guess American lives don't matter to her. A vote for Clinton is a vote for more war, but I guess that's better than Trump as president. Pull your heads out of your asses liberals and demand more than just defeating a fascist.

That said, I am pleased to see that there are leftists out there that understand the scandals, corruption, and failures that most assuredly will come with Hillary's administration. Luke: I guess both Democrats and Republicans have decided to support people who have no business being president. Just because Clinton doesn't use the vulgar oratory of Trump shouldn't fool anyone, they are the same kind of demagogues.
I quit being a Democrat decades ago. I remain liberal only in the sense that as long as government is wasting our money, I would rather they waste it on programs that go to individuals, not the corporate rich, or the military. I would certainly vote for an increase in Social Security payments before I would vote for another corporate tax cut.

Funny, they attack my blog with hate, but claim I'm the hater. They call me bitter, but they are the ones who constantly write only negative about Republicans and anyone who disagrees with Obama's decisions.

They can't see through their cloud of hate. It is hate and bitterness to write everyday about how Republicans are liars, fuckers, Nazis, and worse. I wonder how they can be so negative everyday?

Try writing about how Obama could be better instead of writing hate everyday. Try writing about how good Obama is instead of writing hate and negativity about Republicans everyday. Try seeing the positive instead of the negative. Try writing about how much better we could be instead of writing liar everyday.

Read Sue's blog. It is nothing but hate, hate, hate everyday, every post. She sends the hate mail I've been getting for months, yet I'm the hater she claims.

It's clear to see who the hate filled, bitter people are. They write nothing but hate, negativity, swear words, and their own lies everyday.

They have nothing to say about the positive side of things, only negativity about anything everyday.

I have posted many times about their attacks on me, and have posted their hate mail. They are having to much fun with their negativity and hate. They have kept their attacks on me going for months. Journalistic Integrity

Chris Wallace of Fox News says it's not his job to discern the truth of responses given to him by a candidate for president when he asks a question to them. WOW!

Matt Lauer seemed to be working on the same policy when he got untrue responses from Trump and Clinton the other night, and never called them on their false responses. If seeking the truth is not a journalist job, whose job is it?

Walter Cronkite, Edward R. Murrow, Mike Wallace, and other honest journalists must be rolling over in their graves to hear such garbage.

The press has always been seeking the truth whether covering politics, police, government, or any other situation that affects the American people. The press has been the wall against the lies of those who seek power, or are in power. That includes private as well as public power movers and shakers.

If you think Trump as president is dangerous for America; a press willing to ignore lies and present false choices to Americans, will surely be the end of freedom and justice in America.

Seems the current policy of journalism is to simply allow people in power, or seeking power to say whatever they want and let the people decide. The people rely on the press to highlight lies, so they can make informed decisions based on true facts.

Of all the garbage I've heard during this election, this is the most disturbing and the most dangerous.

It's Not A Matter Of Political Philosophy

This is a post from my WordPress blog Stay A While, along with the comments. I decided to duplicate my WordPress blog posts (along with all comments) on Blogger for posterity. Also because I lost my WordPress password and haven't been able to recover my account. So I just copied everything over and changed the publish dates. Anyway, enjoy.

Running an efficient government, is not a matter of political philosophy. Choosing priorities, thus charting the direction of the future of the government (and our country) can be political philosophy. But we have a model to follow when making those priorities, it's called The Constitution of the United States; not to mention our other founding documents.

Those documents (the Constitution specifically) state, that this union was set up for the betterment of the people. "We the people..." is the first line. The "Bill of Rights" are its most important base as a legal document. That is our guide to making priority choices for our government, thus ourselves.

When in question; the slant of a decision goes towards what is best for the people, not some corporation, or economic (capitalism) system.

The words capitalism, capitalist, profit, corporation (get the point) do not appear in the founding documents.

What we spend our money on can be guided by political philosophy, but the responsible action of having a balanced budget, is not a political philosophy, it is just common sense and good business judgment. Something the Republicans have not shown in government leadership for at least 30 years. The proof, is the current financial result of their past fiscal policies.

I laugh at the Republicans who NOW appear to want fiscal responsibility; and their plan will destroy programs that generations of Americans have spent blood, hard work, commitment, and yes their money (higher taxes) to build.

Could we take a different course? Sure, but why destroy a societies progress which has proven to improve the lives within that society, just to cover for one generation of selfish, power hungry Republican politicians?

It's to easy to blame the people. No one wants to pay more taxes. The people have been coned by crooked Republican politicians who promise a "free lunch". Republicans have reaped their political wins at the cost of the future financial health of America. Not once did they try to lead the people, to the idea that we had to pay our bills.

Irresponsible leadership, is the enemy of America. Republicans have been as irresponsible in leading the government, as a drunk deciding to drive a car. And like a drunk driver, they are remorseful now, but the patient is nearly dead. A little late for apologies, which like most drunk drivers, they don't even offer. It's past time, to take their driver's license away.

Doing the right thing can sometimes be a moral question, but the answer will not be found within a political philosophy. The last place you will find morality, is within a group of politicians. Democrats are not any more correct, or moral, but Republicans have been SO wrong and immoral.

The people who have voted for and supported these unethical Republicans, must also take inventory of their morality and character. Do (did) you really believe cutting taxes is the only answer to our national fiscal problems? No, then why support the party whose motto is "Cut Taxes, Cut Taxes – No New Taxes, No New Taxes".

There is a simple reason why our States and our National governments are in debt, because we refuse to pay our bills and the immoral leaders we listened to said that was the right thing to do.

There is blame enough for the people, but the culprits are the irresponsible Republicans.

I'm sure the Republican response to this post will be, both parties are to blame. That is already their excuse to deflect blame. Bullshit!

You can't hide behind the "I'm not a racist, but by the way where is his birth certificate and why did Obama cause this issue".

Did you wonder just how racism would rear its ugly head against the first black President?

Racism is is not so overt these days. I didn't expect the Klan to march on the White House with their hoods on. I didn’t expect racists to be calling the President of the United States a nigger. I didn’t expect business owners to not admit him inside their businesses.

Racists are more backhanded these days. Questioning his birthright, in the face of clear evidence, that he is American born. Just a little slap, to let him know they don’t think he is REALLY American, as they feel other blacks are not really American.

Claiming he is a Muslim, when that is totally untrue. Why? Could it be that Americans have a negative connotation of Muslims since 2001? Irregardless that a vast majority of Muslims in the World are peace loving people; a few bad people have hijacked that religion, and are nothing more than murdering terrorists.

We have a few religious terrorists in America who have hijacked the Christian religion for their evil purposes. I doubt most good Christians support those religious terrorists who bomb abortion clinics, or kill abortion doctors who are providing a LEGAL service.

I haven't counted, but I'll bet we have more dangerous religious crackpots in America, than any other Country on Earth.

Don't kid yourself, these are racists. They use different tactics in the 21st century.

Calling him Socialist, Communist, Hitler and every other name in the book, is just another way to try and define him as sub-human.

Since when, if a President wants to try and help the American people, does that make him anti-American.? That’s what they say about him. They even concoct their bat shit theories about him being in some secret alliance with Arab States to tear down America.

Call these racists, racists!

Don't let them get away with some bullshit explanations like, "we are just asking legitimate questions". Bullshit!

And those like RN who claim they don't "know" if he is a citizen, or not, or Muslim, or not; are stupid and racist.

Sue: Tom, these racists call the president a Muslim so they don't have to overtly call him a ni**er. Yes, the extreme right winger who murders an abortion doctor is a domestic terrorist. They have no problem calling McVeigh a terrorist but if it's someone "called by God" to defend the unborn then that's justifiable murder. Evangelicals are a terrifying bunch of extremists, I'd hate to see one of them as our president!

TOM 3136: Sue, "We shall not always expect to find them supporting our view. But we shall always hope to find them strongly supporting their own freedom" I keep coming back to this quote by President Kennedy; and have concluded that Republicans do not support their own (Americas) freedom. Unfortunately, it's not all extremists who believe this crap. It comes from the Republican leaders of the House and Senate. P.S. No problem about the found comment. All sorts of strange things happen with blogger.

tnlib: I can remember in the early days right after Obama was elected, progressive bloggers were calling the Tea Party racists. Editorials and opinion pieces in the MSM were defending the TPers and saying they weren't racist. I wonder what they're saying today.

jadedj: Sue nailed it. They simply have given up the nigger word, that's all. They know the nigger word won't fly in today's politics. They can't simply say, a nigger has no right to the White House because niggers are sub-human. This is their problem totally. They look for other ways to niggerize the President... he's a Muslim…he wasn't born in the U.S... ad nauseum. We know it…and THEY know it. They just won't own up to it.I for one think none of them are worth spit, nor am I interested in any sort of dialog with them. In the vernacular... screw 'em!

We Have All Gone Crazy

I know I have. I even got reconciliation and majority vote mixed up on a blog comment tonight. My excuse is the medication, what's yours? The sudden turn of the attitude of this blog probably has something to do with the medication, but more to do with exasperation.

In 2006 and 2008 the country drastically changed the ruling political power in national government. That meant a new President and dozens of elected Congressional seats. A big change of power in Washington.

Last night one State elected a Republican Senator (a seat held by a Democrat for over 54 years) and this supposedly means the intent of the voters of the 2006 and 2008 elections is now null and void? The President and the agenda he ran on just a year ago, is no longer valid to Americans? Americans no longer want health care insurance reform? Hogwash!

Americans like a good sniping and a good trashing, especially against authority. Are you watching Conan to see what new insults he has against NBC? Do we like to hear about the sexual peccadilloes of politicians? Don't we love to hear how the higher ups in society have fallen? Do we fight City Hall, even though we know it’s a losing proposition? Do we cheer for the guy that does take on City Hall? We love to trash VIPs. We listen when we hear our employers and bosses being trashed.

Revenge is a dish best served cold, which means there is not often a lot of thought put into the consequences of our actions. But, hey, we love to get that shot in.

So the voters of Massachusetts (under the national light) decided to give their government a shot. Upset about the President's admittedly (admitted by me) flawed health care bill, they stuck it in the eye of the politicians.

Massachusetts voted for Obama in 2008 knowing and supporting his agenda, including his health care reform promises. Of course, those promises were not what the bill ended up being. I mean, what the Hell, they were not getting what they wanted anyways; and what they did get was a stereotype of dirty political deals, so it didn’t really matter who won the election and it was a good opportunity to give a shot to those self serving bastards in the Congress. No problem, and unless Mr. Brown turns out to be a better politician than he sounds like; he too will be ousted in 2016.

This was an anti vote. Anti Washington, anti Obama health care, anti horrible democrat candidate, anti Republicans doing nothing, anti politicians, anti anything to do with politics. And why not. What have any of these of political crooks done for citizens lately?

Yet, we only have ourselves to blame. Are we crazy? We vote for politicians that pander for our vote by saying they will not raise our taxes, and then wonder why we are bankrupt. We reelect politicians that are caught stealing, lying, having sexual affairs, getting paid for their votes, giving us stupid outright lies for explanations, and whatever crap they think we will swallow, then we do swallow it and reelect them. We allow the most vile speech without speaking out against those haters we should have left behind decades ago. You know the old saying, if you keep doing the same thing and get the same failing results...

We go ga ga over some politician thinking he has the answer to all our problems like he is some kind of political messiah, and when he does not solve all our problems within a year, we dump on him.

Forget all the bullshit from politicians and use a little common sense. Have a little sales resistance. Use some critical thinking. Do you really think these power hungry, selfish, egotistical people care about you? Are you sure someone who thinks differently than you wants to destroy America? Is your neighbor your enemy? Is the opposition party America’s enemy, or is Bin Laden our enemy?

I think we are crazy. We are blowing up the greatest country the World has ever known, mistakes and all.

Rational Nation USA: "We vote for politicians that pander for our vote by saying they will not raise our taxes, and then wonder why we are bankrupt". Anybody ever hear of living within ones means? The government sure hasn't for a very long time. Quite possibly reflective of the liberal political mindset. Who knows, who cares? Two choices; cut all unnecessary spending, military and domestic. Get rid of the porkulus earmarks and special interests. Get some meaningful campaign reform going…Or just raise taxes, and raise taxes, and raise taxes... Perhaps the day will come, but I doubt it, when the electorate figures it out and thus the politicians (government) will no longer be able to scam the public. Government is but a necessary evil, and power corrupts while absolute power corrupts absolutely. Wake up time everybody.

TOM 5704: RN, It all comes down to spending. We have proven to ourselves that higher taxes does not inhibit growth. See my "Mondale was right" post. After WW II we were building the greatest middle class, growth was great, yet, we were taxing ourselves at 70% or more. We had little debt. "Anybody ever hear of living within ones means? The government sure hasn't for a very long time. Quite possibly reflective of the liberal political mindset". Given the last 30 year History of trillion dollar deficits, when the Executive and Legislative were controlled a majority of the time by Republicans, I cannot agree that over spending is a liberal mindset. The only dip in the growth of the national debt since 1983, happened when Clinton was President. It's simple Math Republicans blew it. They increased spending, while cutting taxes. Republicans still hold today, to a tax cut philosophy, while our debt continues to rise. This is financial madness. What services do we want our government to provide, and how much are we willing to pay for those services. Simple outline, hard decisions. Cincinnati Rick, I have no clue what your comment has to do with this post, except to prove that you are a troll. I read your comment at Pam's blog. You are an idiot troll.

Pamela D. Hart: Rational: Kudos to everything you wrote! Tom: You're back on track! Great post! Are you sure someone who thinks differently than you wants to destroy America? That is what I've been trying to get across to "some" people. Differing opinions DON'T signify being Un-American or Unpatriotic, it indicates they are DIFFERENT! Do we like to hear about the sexual peccadilloes of politicians? Don't we love to hear how the higher ups in society have fallen?Personally, Tom, no, I don't like to hear about any of that. It not only makes me sick to my stomach; it also doesn't make ME feel any better; any bigger; or give me any more "power". It would be much better if our politicians just towed the line and did the right thing. It seems, though, that some people like this type of behavior, maybe it makes "some" feel better about themselves. I guess the old saying: Misery loves company is truer than we thought. I think the Brown vote was a vote based on impatience and fear. We are in a recession and unemployment is high and the light at the tunnel is a train for some. People don’t seem to realize that we didn't get into this mess over-night so it's going to take time to get out. But as I said, we're an impatient people, so what do we do? We vote. Brown said the "right" things and it made a lot of people "feel" better. But if things don't change, he'll be out on his butt too. Also, if Republicans don't get down to business they won't win come November. There are a lot of "cocky" right-wingers out there right now and I don't see that as a good thing. Republicans/Conservatives need to stay focused and remember how they lost "power" the last time and fix those mistakes. Those who don't learn from history are bound to repeat it...

TOM 5704: Pamela, The comments on your present post shows it goes way beyond cocky. The hate (especially for the President) is visceral, thick, and deep. I only hope that does not reflect a high percentage of the views of the country, or even Republicans.From what I hear on the airwaves, it is a reflection of a high number of Republicans. That helps nothing, and only makes the problem worse. Since many of them comment as anonymous, or fake names, no blogs (what some call trolls) they seem to be ashamed to express those extreme views as themselves. It's never (for me) been a matter of differing opinions, it's a matter of actions based on convictions. The Republicans have been acting against their own stated principles and hurting the country. They have been doing this for so long, I can only conclude that they have been intentionally lying. That is inexcusable, especially given the harm they have caused to the country.
